Overview:

FEITIAN OTP Authentication Server (FOAS) is used for strong business authentication services and supports all the authentication operations.

The FOAS architecture includes the following components:

• The authentication service/SDK                                                                    
• The authentication agent/SDK
• The OTP management tool (management center)

For a complete functionality there are needed three additional parts:

• The database system
• The application system
• The OTP token devices

The authentication devices (OTP tokens):
OTP Token is a chip based authentication token and offers complete mobility with maximum of flexibility. OTP Token is the central component of the OTP authentication system, an e-security system for strong VPN, LAN authentication and web acces control. OTP Token can be used for generating the One-Time Password for authentication. Each OTP Token allows you to travel and authenticate in a network without the need of installing a special software.

One-Time Password:
The One-Time Password event-based function from OTP Token provides a 6-digit PIN which can be used together with a password for two-factor authentication. OTP Token is enough flexible to adopt different algorithms, including OATH (Open AuTHentication – event-based algorithm).

Easy of use:
The simple interface is easy to use and understand. A simple button push shows a 6-digit number on the screen. At the second button push the screen goes blank.
